How Will It Move Mii?
On December 8th 2006 Nintendo released the Wii with launch title Wii Sports, where you had to actually move around to make your character move around in sports like tennis and boxing. This made the game easy to pick up and play, and also made it the most physically demanding game since our cousin Jim played Street Fighter II. Wii Fit was released on April 25th 2008, a much more physically demanding exercise game. The exercises can be broken down into four different categories : yoga, balance, strength and aerobics.
Nintendo have claimed "By playing Wii Fit a little every day, you, your friends, and your family can work towards personal goals of better health and fitness". I had to put this to the ultimate test, to see if Wii Fit can improve someone's fitness. None of this "with your regular exercise" malarky, just Wii Fit, on it's own for half an hour every day, for 100 days.
All other forms of exercise need to be avoided as much as possible. Having bought this game for myself for Christmas, this 100 days would need to start the next day, running through to April 5th, my birthday eve.
